About Us

cinetrace

is an independent curatorial platform, working across contemporary cinemas from South Asia, with an evolving transnational lens.

OUR ETHOS

Light falling through a carved jaali lattice window

The platform emerged from a recognition that while cinematic and curatorial practices in the region are active and ambitious, sustained independent infrastructures to support them remain limited.

Cinetrace is not a festival, a production company, or a foundation.

It functions as a curatorial ecosystem- developing publishing, short film support, programming frameworks, and research initiatives.

Our approach is deliberate rather than reactive, while priortizing
